Question: Hi, I am interested in learning how to eat raw. I was wondering if you can help me find where I can sign up for some classes on how to eat raw and it's benefits? And hopefully something that's economic would be a plus!! Thank you for your help.
Answer: Thank you for your question. Ecopolitan (everything ecological that's non-profit) offers monthly food preparation classes (UnCooking) that adhere to our Eco-Raw Living principles (healthy, no-hype, sustainable/eco-friendly, no GMO foods, no stimulants, no extracted or concentrated sweeteners, plenty of self-deprecating humor, etc. - see our archived EcoMmunication Newsletters...). For the more serious culinary students, we offer private (one-on-one) lessons with one of our chefs. The prices are reasonable - you may call the restaurant (612-87-GREEN) or visit our staff for info about the next Un-cooking class or to register for a private class. We also have special events, recipe books, Eco-Adventures, an Ecopolitan recipe e-book (coming soon), weekly lectures, and monthly EcoRaw potluck! All these topics are listed with details in our monthly email Newsletter, in addition to health-related, ecologically-minded articles and answers to readers' questions like yours. Relative to many other options (expensive trips to expensive far-away RawFood Retreats, which often serve you their traditional "brand" of "Raw-Foodism" instead of teaching how to live a healthy daily lifestyle that empowers you to actively implement EcoRaw Living principles within your home), this is the most eco-nomical and sustainable approach! You may sign up for our Newsletter online at www.ecopolitan.com or by emailing us.
